Getting Started with Ledgr

Ledgr is a personal finance app for iPhone and iPad that helps you track expenses, manage budgets, and understand your spending — completely offline. No account or login required.

Requirements

  • iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later
  • Face ID or Touch ID (optional, for app lock)

Opening the App

When you open Ledgr, you'll see the launch screen for 2 seconds, then the app goes straight to the Home screen — no sign-in or account needed.

First Launch

On the first launch, Ledgr will ask for tracking permission. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" is fine — this only affects whether ads are personalised.

Enabling App Lock (Optional)

If you'd like to protect Ledgr with Face ID or Touch ID:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Toggle on Face ID (or Touch ID)

Once enabled, the launch screen will prompt for biometric authentication each time the app opens.

The toggle is only available if your device supports Face ID or Touch ID.

Navigation

Ledgr has two main tabs at the bottom of the screen:
